The Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is one of the most beautiful beach locations in Central America.
Refreshing ocean water meets the graceful waterfalls, the rhythm of the waves meet the wild vibrancy of the jungle.
Our host for February 2016, La Cusinga Lodge, lies in the Canton de Osa, in the town of Uvita.
A tiny village with two miles of pure white sand and fabulous conditions for swimming, Uvita might become your favorite place in Costa Rica. It’s part of the Marino Ballena National Park (Whale Marine Park), named for humpback whales who meet and mate here every winter and spring.
Uvita lies on the northern border of the Osa Peninsula, considered the most bio-diverse place on Earth by the National Geographic Society and the United Nations. Uvita and the surrounding areas boast world class surf, lush jungled covered mountains that soar from the sea, an abundance of exciting adventure opportunities and a host of spectacular natural attractions ranging from waterfalls to sea caves to hidden beaches and more!
The studio is breathtaking, with views of the ocean, jungle and even the famous Whale’s Tail! Practice takes place in a gorgeous, open air studio. Natural light and fresh air fill the space; birds, butterflies and iguanas play outside.
Getting here is easy. We will help all participants plan their arrival and offer shuttle information as the time approaches. The trip is roughly 3 hours from San Jose, Costa Rica’s largest town and international airport.
Upon arrival, let the ocean welcome you!
We can’t wait to play and dance together!
